Dashboard - Climate Action Himachal Pradesh

The Climate Action Dashboard of Himachal Pradesh features key missions, activities, and indicators under the SAPCC (State Action Plan on Climate Change) Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework, designed to track progress toward HP SAPCC 2.0 objectives and provide a snapshot of the state's climate action. The Dashboard is structured around three main building blocks: Missions, Activities, and Indicators, arranged in a hierarchical manner.

Privacy Policy

The Climate Action Dashboard of Himachal Pradesh under the Himachal Pradesh State Action Plan on Climate Change (HP-SAPCC) developed and maintained by the Department of Environment, Science & Technology and Climate Change (DEST&CC), Government of Himachal Pradesh, is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and stakeholders.

1. Data Collection

The portal collects the following types of data:

  • Departmental Data: Progress indicators, activities, and budgetary information submitted by registered departments for monitoring climate action under SAPCC.

  • User Information: Basic profile information (e.g., name, designation, department, contact details) for registered department users and administrators.

  • Usage Data: Aggregated analytics on portal access, feature usage, and system performance, collected through standard server logs.

No personal or sensitive data is collected from public users.

2. Use of Information

The collected information is used strictly for:

  • Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of SAPCC missions and indicators.

  • Generating departmental and aggregated reports for internal planning and interdepartmental coordination.

  • Providing transparency through the public dashboard without exposing personally identifiable information.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Data entered by department users is accessible only to authorized personnel of their respective departments and the DEST&CC. Public dashboards display only cumulative or anonymized performance data. 

No personal data is shared with third parties or used for commercial purposes.

4. Security Measures

The portal is hosted on secure infrastructure with HTTPS encryption. Role-based access control is enforced for all departmental and admin users. Regular backups and security audits are part of the hosting and deployment lifecycle, including planned deployment on the State Data Centre (SDC).

5. User Rights and Responsibilities

Department users are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the data they enter. In case of incorrect data entries, edit requests may be submitted to the nodal admin for approval.

6. Changes to the Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically. Updated versions will be made available on the portal with the “Last Updated” date.
